Background
WOA (formally Vision Warriors) reached out to Clever for help clarifying their brand and messaging. The Clever team did a full-day workshop with discovery and strategic planning to uncover a clearer way to state the organization’s purpose. Out of this meeting resulted in a new name and a new message.
Project Overview
WarOn.org is a faith-based nonprofit that seeks to helps men overcome addictions through Biblical accountability, transparency, and community. The organization helps provide the tools needed to experience life after sobriety which includes providing housing, a jobs program, and transportation. However, their name and mission weren’t always so clear.
The organization was originally called Vision Warriors, but that often led to confusion about what they did. Their brand general, from their mission statement to their service offerings, wasn’t clear to the people they were trying to serve. The organization’s leadership knew that they needed outside help if they were to reach their true potential.
The team reached out to Clever for help clarifying their brand and messaging. The Clever team did a full-day workshop with discovery and strategic planning to uncover a clearer way to state the organization’s purpose. Out of this meeting resulted in a new name and a new message.

Unveiling this new brand and message is still a work in progress. However, it’s given the WarOn.org team a renewed sense of clarity and purpose behind the work they’re called to do. And the new name has already proven to be more effective as they communicate with their audiences and supporters.
Clever Marketing has continued to work with the WarOn.org team to optimize their marketing channels to bring them in line with the renewed brand. With this regained clarity and confidence, WarOn.org is able to be more effective in serving those impacted by addiction.
About WarOn.org
WarOn's mission is to end addiction, everywhere. The statistics related to drug overdoses on opiates alone is staggering. It is estimated that in 2017 nearly 49,000 people died from overdose caused by opiates alone and that number is rising. As an American you are more likely to die from an overdose than a car crash, or gun violence.
The treatment of this affliction is multifaceted, we believe it should not bankrupt a person or family, and that a safe sober environment should be available to anyone who wants to recover.
