For nearly two decades, Ryan has served in pivotal leadership roles within large churches and mission-driven organizations. To each of his roles, Ryan has brought a deep passion for ministry and strategic expertise in marketing, sales, and leadership. His approach as a leader is focused on building and equipping high-impact teams that drive healthy growth, innovation, and meaningful connections in both congregational and organizational settings.
Ryan’s ministry journey began at a multisite church in South Florida, where he led discipleship initiatives for a thriving congregation of over 13,000 attendees. His commitment to developing discipleship pathways, leveraging data and trends, and fostering authentic community set a strong foundation for sustained growth.
He later stepped into the role of area pastor of branding and communications at a rapidly expanding church in Las Vegas. During his tenure, Ryan played a pivotal role in scaling the church’s digital reach, building a team that supported the ministries of the church while assisting in the expansion from four to eleven locations in 24-months.
Following nearly a decade of vocational ministry, Ryan joined Generis, a consulting firm based in Johns Creek, Ga., as the head of marketing. His strategic leadership paired with an amazing team and mission allowed a 300% increase in growth over four years.
In 2019, Ryan founded Clever Marketing, a mission-driven staffing agency designed to transform how faith-led organizations approach marketing. Under his leadership, Clever has grown into a team of more than 90 marketers across 28 states, serving influential clients such as Generis, Slingshot Group, Guidestone, CDF Capital, Ministry Brands, and dozens of churches across the nation. Clever Marketing has become a trusted partner in advancing the mission of faith-based organizations through innovative strategies and impactful execution.
Ryan and his wife, Elaine, reside in Atlanta, Ga., with their four children. Their family remains deeply rooted in their local church, where they serve passionately in the biblical counseling, worship, and security ministries, reflecting their shared commitment to advancing God’s kingdom in every aspect of life.
